Just checked my last diary entry and my last sail was 8th May :( Lots of unavoidable things have prevented me getting on the water for about the longest time I can remember, so it was pretty nice to get a sail in tonight.

Driving back to Brighton I noticed the clouds moving pretty fast (I'd given up checking forecasts) and realised that it was plenty light enough for a late evening session, so I diverted to Shoreham.

Got there at about 7:30pm to find surprisingly little shorebreak (or waves at all unfortunately), but there were at least a few people out making the most of the late evening sun. 3.5s looked like they'd been the choice, but the wind had just dropped as I got there to 4.6m weather for the rest of the evening. Great fun actually being back on the water again, and the waves got a little better as the tide dropped back.

A few aches the next day after an hour on the water, but then it was off to a wedding for the day so no more sailing anyway.
